Shawna Ballay has an extensive, multi-disciplinary background that includes the direct oversight of planning, coordination and public outreach, and environmental compliance, design, and construction for transportation, infrastructure, residential, and commercial building projects for tribal communities in New Mexico and Arizona. Shawna is particularly skilled at project management of multi-disciplinary teams, and developing and facilitating complex budgets, contracts, and approvals that provide the necessary development and funding support for tribal communities. She has worked extensively for the Navajo Nation and has provided coordination of the tribe’s efforts on project funding under the American Rescue Plan Act (ARPA) economic stimulus bill.
